AI experiments, unclear value
People are trying ChatGPT or Copilot, but it is hard to tell which uses actually help the business.

A familiar situation
Many businesses are experimenting with AI while the day-to-day work remains much the same.
People are trying ChatGPT or Copilot, but it is hard to tell which uses actually help the business.
Copying information, preparing documents and chasing updates still take time away from more useful work.
Duplicated effort, inbox handoffs and scattered information make otherwise simple processes harder.
A new tool can make a poor process faster without solving the underlying problem.
Start with how the work happens. Then decide where AI is actually useful.
Practical possibilities
Examples we may assess, not customer case studies or promises to automate. Suitability depends on your process, information and tools.
Triage recurring emails and summarise what needs attention.
Draft repeat documents using information you already hold.
Turn documents or form responses into structured information.
Prepare recurring reports and updates from existing information.
Help staff find useful information across internal documents.
Reduce copying, repeated steps and manual handoffs.

The first paid step
A focused diagnostic for owners, directors and operations leaders with a recurring workflow problem.
We agree which workflows to examine, discuss how they operate and review suitable examples. You receive a short, practical plan before committing to implementation.
Where recurring admin, bottlenecks and duplicated effort slow the work.
Useful AI and workflow changes, including what to leave alone.
Likely benefits, effort and tool needs, with assumptions made clear.
What to do first, what needs to be in place and how to proceed.
Estimates are not guaranteed savings. The recommendation may be a simpler process change, with no AI needed.

Common questions
A clear first step, an agreed scope and a practical plan.
No. The review can assess whether Copilot is worth considering. If an opportunity needs a particular licence or feature, that requirement and its cost should be clear before implementation.
That is a useful starting point. We can look at what is working, where use is inconsistent and whether AI-assisted tasks fit into a reliable everyday process.
No. Microsoft 365-heavy workflows are a natural fit, but the starting point is the work itself. Recommendations may involve other existing tools, simple automation or a change that does not need AI.
The starting assumption is to improve the tools and workflows already in place. Any proposed software or licence cost should have a clear reason and be agreed before you commit.
You receive a concise, prioritised action plan. You can implement it yourself, use another provider or agree a bounded project with Waytide. A Sprint or Workshop may suit the findings; neither is compulsory.
Size matters less than the work. If recurring admin or handoffs take meaningful staff time, a focused review may help. If the likely benefit would not justify the fee, we should establish that before booking.
Start with descriptions of the selected workflows, the tools used and representative examples. Redacted or dummy examples may be enough. Any further access should be limited to what is necessary and agreed beforehand.
Do not send confidential files with an initial enquiry or Health Check. Before any project access, we agree what information is needed, which tools may process it and how it will be handled. Start with redacted or dummy examples and follow your organisation’s policies; do not assume material can be uploaded to an AI tool.
